Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
The short version
- We collect what we need to make your print, ship it, and stay in touch if you ask us to.
- Card numbers go to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store them.
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- We use analytics, including session replay, to see where the site works and where it trips people up. Anything you type is masked.
- We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. We use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, and may use the Pinterest tag to measure our Pinterest ads. You can opt out at Your privacy choices, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal automatically.
- Questions or requests go to john@frontierprints.com. A real person reads every one.
Who we are
Frontier Prints LLC ("Frontier Prints", "we", "us") is a small print shop based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our prints are framed by hand in Phoenix, Arizona. This policy covers frontierprints.com, the emails we send, and the orders you place with us. It took effect on the date shown above.
What we collect
Information you give us.
- Contact and order details: your name, email address, shipping address, and the items, sizes and frames you order.
- The state and ZIP code you enter in the cart, so we can quote shipping and charge the right tax.
- Gift details: gift notes and gift messages.
- Your email address when you sign up for our emails or spin the signup wheel.
- Anything you send us by email.
Information from our payment processor. Stripe collects your card or wallet and billing details on its own secure checkout page. Stripe tells us the payment went through and shares limited details such as a card fingerprint, a code that identifies a card without revealing its number. We use the fingerprint to stop people from referring themselves in our referral program.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics provider collect device and browser details, your IP address and the approximate location it suggests, pages you view, products you look at, items you add to your cart, the site that sent you, and how you click and scroll. Session replay records how you move through our pages so we can find bugs. It masks every form field you type into, and it cannot see Stripe's checkout page.
Email activity. Our email provider tells us whether an email was delivered, opened, and which links were clicked. Links in our emails pass through a tracking address (links.frontierprints.com) on the way to our site.
Records from our earlier store. If you shopped with us before October 2026, your past orders and email preferences came with us from our previous store platform.
How we use it
- To make, pack, ship and track your order, and to send the emails that go with it (order confirmation, production, shipping and delivery updates).
- To answer your questions and fix problems with an order, including damage replacements and returns.
- To send marketing emails, only if you opt in.
- To run promotions such as welcome codes, and referral rewards, and to stop them from being abused.
- To charge and report sales tax and keep the records tax law requires.
- To understand how the site is used and make it better.
- To measure our advertising, if you have not opted out.
- To keep the shop secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Advertising
We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. We use the Meta Pixel, Meta's advertising tool, on our site to measure whether our ads work and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. We may also use Meta's Conversions API and the Pinterest tag for the same purposes. Through these tools, Meta or Pinterest can receive information such as the pages you view, the products you look at, items you add to your cart, when you start checkout, purchases and their value, your IP address and browser identifiers, and may combine it with what it already knows about you. They load only if you have not opted out.
Some state privacy laws call this "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or "targeted advertising". You can opt out at Your privacy choices. You can also manage the ads you see on Meta at facebook.com/adpreferences and on Pinterest in your Pinterest privacy and data settings.
Your privacy choices and Global Privacy Control
On Your privacy choices you can opt out of sharing for advertising and turn off analytics, including session replay, for the browser you are using.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser. You do not need to do anything else.
These choices are saved in your browser. If you clear your browser data or use another device, set them again. To opt out in a way tied to your email address, email john@frontierprints.com.
Emails from us
We send marketing emails (new drops, sales and offers) only if you sign up or check the box in your cart. The box always starts unchecked. Cart reminder emails also go only to shoppers who opted in.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. We may also stop sending to subscribers who have not opened our emails in a long while.
Order emails, such as confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your questions, are part of your purchase, so they still arrive after you unsubscribe from marketing.
Your rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we have about you and how we use it, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop selling or sharing your information and stop using it for targeted advertising;
- stop sending you marketing emails.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law. We extend them to all our customers.
To make a request, email john@frontierprints.com with "Privacy request" in the subject, or write to us at 10869 N Scottsdale Rd, Suite 103-278, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. We will confirm it is you by matching your request to the email address on your orders, and we may ask for one more detail. You can use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof that you gave them permission. We answer within 45 days, and tell you if we need more time.
We will not charge you more, give you worse service, or treat you differently for using these rights. We may need to keep some records, such as order and tax records, when the law requires it, and we will tell you if that applies.
If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. If we turn down the appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
California residents: we do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing (California Civil Code Section 1798.83).
The legal categories
Some state laws ask us to list what we collect in their terms. In the past 12 months we collected:
- identifiers (name, email address, IP address, browser identifiers);
- customer records (shipping address, order details);
- commercial information (what you bought or looked at);
- internet activity (pages viewed, clicks, session replay, email opens and clicks);
- approximate location from your IP address.
We collect these from you, from your browser, and from Stripe, for the purposes listed above. We disclose each category to the service providers listed above. We have not sold any category for money. Through the Meta Pixel, and the Pinterest tag if we turn it on, identifiers, commercial information and internet activity are shared with Meta and Pinterest for advertising unless you opt out. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, and we do not use personal information to infer things about you beyond what helps us sell and ship prints.
How long we keep it
- Order and tax records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally up to seven years.
- Email subscription: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your address on a do-not-email list so we do not email you by mistake.
- Analytics and session replays: for the retention period our analytics provider applies to our account. We do not keep them longer than we need them to understand and fix the site.
- Emails you send us: as long as they help us serve you.
Children
Our shop is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know is under 16. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never touch our servers. We limit who can see customer information to the people and tools that need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed, but we work to protect it and will tell you if a breach affects you as the law requires.
Other sites
Our site links to other sites, such as Instagram, Facebook and carrier tracking pages. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on our site or by email before it takes effect. Our Terms of Service explain the rest of the rules for shopping with us.
