Deadwood is a vintage travel poster for the gold rush town in the Black Hills of South Dakota. A bearded gunslinger in a green hat and vest holds a fan of cards with aces showing, a revolver drawn in his other hand. Wooden storefronts line the dusty main street behind him, with pine-covered hills and an orange sun. DEADWOOD runs across the top, SOUTH DAKOTA across the bottom.
The cards nod to the legend of Wild Bill Hickok, shot at a poker table in Deadwood in 1876. The colors are rust, mustard, and forest green on cream.
