About this print

  • Cowboy on a bucking bronc in ink brush style
  • Black strokes on a warm parchment tone
  • Inspired by East Asian xieyi brushwork
  • Minimal enough for modern rooms, western at heart

Ride of the West is a bronc rider art print drawn in the language of ink. A cowboy throws one arm high as the horse bucks beneath him, mane and tail flying in loose black strokes, a slash of shadow on the ground below.

The style takes its cue from East Asian xieyi brushwork, where a few quick marks carry the spirit of a thing. Here that spirit is the West: strength, freedom, and the wild rhythm of eight seconds in the saddle. Black on soft parchment, nothing extra.

The simple palette works in modern, minimalist, and ranch interiors alike. It looks right above a leather armchair, in an office, or along a stairway. Part of the Cowboys & Cowgirls collection. Choose a matte print, or have it framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut, or natural wood, with or without a white mat.

What is the difference between Print and Framed Print?

Print ships as the artwork alone on heavyweight matte stock. Framed Print arrives in your choice of black, white, walnut, or natural wood frames, ready to hang.

How long until my order ships?

Every Frontier Prints piece is made to order. Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days, framed pieces in 5 to 7.

Will the colors match my screen?

Screens differ, so expect slight shifts in color. Wood grain on walnut frames is unique to each piece.

Do framed prints have glass?
