Desert Cross is a sepia Western art print of a single wooden cross in open desert. The cross is rough-hewn and weathered, its grain cracked by sun and wind. Clumps of bunchgrass and brush surround it, and a low line of mountains runs along the horizon.
The palette is soft sepia, taupe, and warm gray, quieter than the rest of the Dust & Shadow collection. It is a picture of reverence and solitude, of faith that does not need to raise its voice.
