About this print

  • Weathered, split fence post in sharp focus
  • Barbed wire and posts receding to the horizon
  • Black and white photographic style with rich texture
  • Quiet ranch land scene for modern or rustic rooms

Fence Lines is a black and white western print of ranch country at its plainest. A cracked, sun-split post stands in the foreground, leaning just slightly. Barbed wire runs from it toward a row of posts that shrink into the horizon, across ground thick with bunchgrass and scrub.

Rendered in a stark photographic style, it is about the line we draw and the land that ignores it. The sky is pale and empty, the ground is textured and dark, and the rhythm of the posts carries the eye a long way. It is part of the Dust & Shadow collection.

The grayscale palette suits modern farmhouse, minimalist, and ranch rooms. Hang it over a leather chair, in an office, or in a hallway with other black and white prints. It comes as a matte print, or framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut, or natural wood, with or without a white mat.

Good to know

What is the difference between Print and Framed Print?

Print ships as the artwork alone on heavyweight matte stock. Framed Print arrives in your choice of black, white, walnut, or natural wood frames, ready to hang.

How long until my order ships?

Every Frontier Prints piece is made to order. Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days, framed pieces in 5 to 7.

Will the colors match my screen?

Screens differ, so expect slight shifts in color. Wood grain on walnut frames is unique to each piece.

Do framed prints have glass?

No. Framed pieces have an acrylic or styrene front, never glass. It is lighter than glass and much less likely to shatter, so it is safer to ship and to hang.

Are prints signed or numbered?

No. Prints are open edition and are not signed or numbered.
