About this print
- Steam locomotive with rolling smoke under green peaks
- Reads DURANGO and COLORADO in rust-red retro type
- Forest green, mustard, and burnt orange palette
- Pines, golden hills, and a bright orange sun
Durango is a vintage travel poster for the Colorado mountain town and its historic steam railroad. A dark green locomotive pulls its cars along a curving track, white smoke rolling up against layered green peaks. Pines crowd the hillsides, gold grass fills the valley, and an orange sun sits high. DURANGO runs across the top and COLORADO across the bottom in rust-red capitals.
The palette is forest green, mustard, cream, and burnt orange, set in flat retro shapes. It feels like the San Juan Mountains on a clear fall day, and like the old railroad posters that once sold the West.
Hang it in a cabin, a mountain house, an office, or a train lover's den. It sits comfortably beside other Westward Wonder travel prints. Available as a matte print, or framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut, or natural wood, with or without a white mat.

What is the difference between Print and Framed Print?
Print ships as the artwork alone on heavyweight matte stock. Framed Print arrives in your choice of black, white, walnut, or natural wood frames, ready to hang.
How long until my order ships?
Every Frontier Prints piece is made to order. Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days, framed pieces in 5 to 7.
Will the colors match my screen?
Screens differ, so expect slight shifts in color. Wood grain on walnut frames is unique to each piece.
Do framed prints have glass?
No. Framed pieces have an acrylic or styrene front, never glass. It is lighter than glass and much less likely to shatter, so it is safer to ship and to hang.
Are prints signed or numbered?
No. Prints are open edition and are not signed or numbered.
