About this print
- Double exposure cowboy portrait in profile
- Saguaro desert and lone horseman inside the silhouette
- Warm amber, rust, and brown on pale cream
- Strong centerpiece for a Western living room
Lone Rider is double exposure cowboy art. A weathered, bearded cowboy in a dark hat turns in profile, and his coat becomes a window into the desert: saguaro cactus, rugged peaks, a gold sky, and a single horseman riding a dusty trail toward the viewer.
The tones are warm and earthy, amber and rust and deep brown, set against a pale cream background. It is solitude and strength told in one image, the man and the land he came from.
It works as a centerpiece in a Western living room, a modern rustic office, or a den with leather, rope, and lantern light. Hang it above a console or a leather sofa. It pairs with Desert Dusk Rider and Shadow of a Rider. Choose a matte print, or framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut, or natural wood, with or without a white mat.

Questions about Lone Rider
What is a double exposure print?
Two images layered into one. In Lone Rider, a cowboy's profile holds a second scene inside it: a saguaro desert with a lone horseman on the trail.
What frame suits Lone Rider?
Black, as shown, frames the pale background cleanly. Walnut brings out the amber and rust for a warmer, rustic room.
Good to know
What is the difference between Print and Framed Print?
Print ships as the artwork alone on heavyweight matte stock. Framed Print arrives in your choice of black, white, walnut, or natural wood frames, ready to hang.
How long until my order ships?
Every Frontier Prints piece is made to order. Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days, framed pieces in 5 to 7.
Will the colors match my screen?
Screens differ, so expect slight shifts in color. Wood grain on walnut frames is unique to each piece.
Do framed prints have glass?
No. Framed pieces have an acrylic or styrene front, never glass. It is lighter than glass and much less likely to shatter, so it is safer to ship and to hang.
Are prints signed or numbered?
No. Prints are open edition and are not signed or numbered.
