About this print
- Three cowboys on paint horses, facing the viewer
- Loose folk-modern lines on a chalk-white impasto ground
- Chalk white, rust brown and black palette
- Landscape format for wide walls
Three Riders at Noon is landscape cowboy wall art in a folk-modern style. Three riders face you from the saddle, their shirts drawn in black and white pinstripe, their hats wide and flat, their paint horses blocked in with pale strokes and rust patches. The ground is thick chalk white, scraped and dripped, with a band of rust and black along the bottom like a weathered adobe wall.
It belongs to our Americana collection, where the West is in paint instead of photos. The palette is limited to chalk white, warm grey, rust brown and black, so it reads clean in a modern room and warm in a rustic one.
The wide format is made for the space over a sofa, a sideboard or a bed. It pairs naturally with Wagon Train, its landscape companion, and with High Plains Rider. Choose a matte print, or have it framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut or natural wood, with or without a white mat.
