Desert Laundromat is a retro roadside print of a place time forgot. A single flat-roofed laundromat sits alone on a desert lot. A faded green sign on the roof reads LAUNDROMAT, and through the big windows you can see rows of front-loading washers under fluorescent lights. A lone lamppost stands beside it.
The tones are olive, sage, and dusty gold, under a teal sky going amber at the horizon. It is photographic-style and still, nostalgic without being sweet, a study in the endurance of forgotten places.
