Neon Still is a black and white western print of an old roadside sign, the word LIQUOR in bold script over a DELI panel cut into diamonds. A long arrow studded with bulbs points down and away, toward a stop that may not be there anymore.
The color is gone, but the glow is still in it. You can almost hear the cars on the highway and the buzz of the tubes after dark. Pale sky, dark steel, strong shape. It is a piece about stillness and memory, part of the Dust & Shadow collection.
