About this print
- Sign reads LAUNDROMAT in faded green and gold
- Rows of washers glowing through the windows
- Olive, sage, and dusty gold under a teal sky
- Horizontal layout, pairs with Blue Mist Motel
Desert Laundromat is a retro roadside print of a place time forgot. A single flat-roofed laundromat sits alone on a desert lot. A faded green sign on the roof reads LAUNDROMAT, and through the big windows you can see rows of front-loading washers under fluorescent lights. A lone lamppost stands beside it.
The tones are olive, sage, and dusty gold, under a teal sky going amber at the horizon. It is photographic-style and still, nostalgic without being sweet, a study in the endurance of forgotten places.
This is a landscape piece for long walls: over a sofa, a bed, a credenza, or a laundry room. Pair it with Blue Mist Motel for a roadside set. Go 24x36 or 20x30 over furniture. Choose a matte print, or have it framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut, or natural wood, with or without a white mat.

Questions about Desert Laundromat
Would Desert Laundromat work in a laundry room?
Yes. It is a fun, fitting pick over a washer or folding counter. A 12x18 or 18x24 suits most laundry rooms.
Is this a real place?
No. It is a photographic-style art print of an imagined desert laundromat, made to capture the feel of old roadside America.
Good to know
What is the difference between Print and Framed Print?
Print ships as the artwork alone on heavyweight matte stock. Framed Print arrives in your choice of black, white, walnut, or natural wood frames, ready to hang.
How long until my order ships?
Every Frontier Prints piece is made to order. Prints ship in 3 to 5 business days, framed pieces in 5 to 7.
Will the colors match my screen?
Screens differ, so expect slight shifts in color. Wood grain on walnut frames is unique to each piece.
Do framed prints have glass?
No. Framed pieces have an acrylic or styrene front, never glass. It is lighter than glass and much less likely to shatter, so it is safer to ship and to hang.
Are prints signed or numbered?
No. Prints are open edition and are not signed or numbered.
