Americana

Americana is our painted collection: eight western pieces made in three painted styles instead of photos. Thick palette-knife portraits flecked with copper, a cowgirl on a fence rail and a longhorn at the gate. Chalky folk-modern riders and a wagon train in rust and black. And three flat mid-century horsemen on sand, terracotta and indigo linen that hang as a set. Every print is the artwork edge to edge on matte paper, unframed or framed by hand in Phoenix in black, white, walnut or natural wood.

Questions about Americana

Are these original canvases or prints?

They are painted artworks reproduced as prints. The knife strokes, drips and linen weave are part of the image, printed flat on matte paper.

Which pieces go together?

High Plains Rider, Saguaro Cattleman and Night Herd share one flat mid-century style and hang as a trio. Rodeo Queen's Pause and Dance Hall Cowgirl are a pair, and Three Riders at Noon and Wagon Train are the two landscape companions.
